The Big Hair Day

The Big Hair Day
PLANNING
The first thing you need to do is to contact me to see if I’m available. Most brides book at least 8-10 months in advance. The best thing is to enquire as soon as possible to book your date.

PRE-WEDDING TRIAL
The next step is the pre-wedding trial. This is where the fun starts, you need to allow at least two hours. Before you have the pre-wedding trial, collect some pictures that show styles you like. If you like the front of one style, but are not keen on the sides or back, don’t worry as most styles can be adapted to suit each person. I will also bring my portfolio of styles.

It is a good idea to have your tiara, veil or hair accessories with you at the pre-wedding trial, If you haven’t, I have a veil and tiara I can use to give an idea of what it will looks like on the day, also I have a selection of hair accessories that you can buy.

When your hair is finished and you are happy with it, I will take photographs for reference that I can later email to you.
BRIDESMAIDS
It is not always possible to get all the bridesmaids together before the wedding, so please bring along a photograph of them with their hair arranged as it is normally.
If you wish both the bridesmaids and mother of the bride to have a pre-wedding trial at the same time, please allow longer than two hours.

TIMETABLE
I can discuss with you timings and if you are having a make-up artist, I can coordinate with them so the times do not overlap.
On your wedding day, I will arrive at the agreed time, ready to help make your day wonderful.

HAIR ACCESSORIES
I have a range of hair accessories, both decorative and floral that can match with your hairstyle and wedding colour scheme. These can be selected and bought at the pre-wedding trial.
